Brian, are you still running your 5100s up front at 1.75? Stock UCAs? If so, how's your alignment and street manners?

Sure am. My alignment is actually really good surprisingly. My steering wheel is at 11 o'clock because they didn't put it straight during the last alignment but it tracks straight for the most part, although Ill be honest its kinda hard to tell because our roads around here are so terrible. But the papers show its really good.

Cool. Do you have any weird wheel response issues? I have my front at .85 currently until I install my 3 leaf AAL and my alignment numbers are good, but sometimes the front end feels a little twitchy, for lack of a better word. I went through a drive through car wash once with the new tires and 5100s done and my tires were straight, going forward in the channel of the wash and my wheel was going absolutely bonkers. Not sure WTF that was about, but sometimes it just behaves a little strange, I wondered if it wasn't a UCA issue even at .85, but again, my alignment is good to go as far as I have been told.

I installed the 5100s and did tires pretty much the same day, so I can't really tell what the cause is of the two, but I was curious how I'll fare when I preload to 1.75 up front.

When going down the highway it does seem not so much "solid" as other vehicles I drive, one attribute was that the shop rotated my tires incorrectly so I was correcting a lot and honestly feared for my life a few times (truck felt like it was all over the road and couldn't stay in a straight line). Rotated my tires myself back to the way they were and it is a ton better but not 100%.

I wonder if we aren't having similar experiences and just attributing them to different things. :D

You on SR5 coils? Or are you debadged TRD?

From the last two posts, it sounds like its a caster issue? The truck won't like straight lines then. I'm too lazy to read anymore than 2 posts.

do both your front tires have about the same amount of tread on them?
