Maybe but you should've seen the garage floor after i washed my frame prior to under coating. I kept the frame coated in mud all summer to prevent further corrosion (sounds retarded but it seemed to help)

My issue with mud is that it stays wet once it gets wet. Meaning you're holding moisture against your frame. Plus when you think about any plant matter in there decomposing, GROSS. It's frame torture. It's kind of like why a white truck is more prone to rust than a dark blue/ black truck. My truck won't warm up as much as yours will when its sitting in the sun meaning my truck will stay damp longer promoting rust.

I gotta quit, you're right. The time is "soon"

Poor choice of word, you're correct.

In the spring I'm going to take the box off my truck and clean up my frame where it needs it and pain the bumper/hitch receiver.
