What if I just do a 12" drop bracket, then custom fab a 3.5 LT kit and throw some spidertrax on there. Maybe some -76 offset 22x14s on 37s so I won't have any rub with the tires all the way outside of my fenders.

Oh and Id keep the stock gears. Regearing would be insane. I mean hello, don't want my gas mileage going south :D

Instead of those 22x14's go for 24x16's with -92 offset, go big or go home right? You'll be able to wheel it so hard with that kind of ground clearance.

For you it'll likely depend on your income, your credit score, and both of those things for someone to co-sign a loan for you. Unless you make a decent amount of money, have good credit (not no credit, GOOD credit) and meet other criteria, and also how much you want to borrow and for what.

I don't know how old Poe is.. :notsure:

But that sounds reasonable, it's not incredibly difficult to get loans when you're young, as long as you're employed and don't have poor credit history. Shit, when I was 20 I had $31k of available credit on 2 cards and a brand new car loan without a cosigner an 3.99% or 2.99% interest.

Just be careful you don't get over your head when it comes to credit and loans, trust me.

I thought he was in school, I imagine being in high school and getting a loan are not that easy to do as (assuming) he has no regular, steady income.

Maybe he'll post what he is thinking about, I wonder if it's not that Dodge Ram he was talking about the other day. Worst case he gets a co-signer for a couple years and he graduates, gets a regular gig and he can refinance and get his own loan, as long as the price is right with the lending company anyway.

Have an appointment Friday to get my tires rebalanced. Hopefully it works, and hopefully they don't scratch my wheels to hell like last time. I don't want to be the guy who points at his wheel and says "You need to fix this or replace my wheels," but I also was the guy who didn't put a single scratch on them for 14 months and 24k miles before the tire shop ruined their cherry putting my new tires on. I had to derp them after to hide the scuffs.

I take my rims off at home and drive my other truck to the tire store and have them mount them on the rim and balance them because they ruined the studs on my scout the week I got it and said it was because the metal was too old. I'll never go back there

I can mount my own rim onto my truck. I just need a supposedly trained monkey to get the tire on the rim and balance.

Bummer. I think if they come back scratched up I'll peel the derp offy and check the damage there on the wheel. If it's bad I'll get vocal as that'd be the second time they've damaged them. Hopefully the deep gives a little more protection.

Balancing beads are instead if wheel weights or do you use them simultaneously?
