    I'm doing 600 which is factory but 2in longer. they don't have a 650 in a 16in coil and i think 700 is too strong on a longer coil

    Sorry I know nothing about coil rates and stuff. The pound rating (in this case 600) is the stiffness correct? And 16in is a coil that is 2 inches longer than stock?

    yup the more poundage the stiffer the coil. the factory coil is a 14in at 600#

    Oh okay, just curious why don't you want a stiffer coil with a heavy front bumper? I should probably stay with 600lb coil then? Or could I go with 500lb for a smoother ride?

    a stiffer coil takes more weight to compress so if you have a heavier bumper it compresses it more. you would prob loose height with a 500 or get coil bind

    The spring rate is how many pounds it takes to compress the spring one inch.

    you can but i wouldn't recommend it for wheeling. I'm gonna run LRs until i can get TCs. 3+ run new ucas. thats the general rule of thumb
