If you install the ECGS bearing when doing a lift, do you still need to install a differential spacer?
I’ve heard some say a diff spacer isn’t good because it pools oil and makes it difficult to Lubricant.
    Wondering what everyone’s thoughts are.

A lift does not affect the front diff driveshaft angle. The diff bushing is a solid brass-type. It’s there to eliminate the up/down play with the stock needle bearing after a lift because the axle shaft is at a higher angle and begins to destroy the needles after a lift. A diff spacer (assuming you mean a driveshaft spacer) is not necessary.

Yeah, the drivers side CV axle on the Tacoma. It has a bunch of play. When I lifted my Tacoma I got the infamous hum noise. After the install of the ECGS it did go away.
Just wanted to make sure I didn’t have to install it.
