Ok. This is truly a miracle. Someone didn’t say. “Buy it back and fix it.”

time to start looking at the local for sale ads (Craigslist, FB Marketplace) to see what similarly equipped trucks like yours are trying to be sold for, so you know what its worth. Dont trust KBB and Edmunds, they are always low. Maybe you'll also find one like yours while you are looking, unless you plan on buying new. Insurance companies dont care about you, they are in the bus to save money, they'll low ball you at first, maybe, unless you get lucky.

When i had one of my heated arguments with USAA when their customer totaled my car i sent them that information and their reply was "we dont pay retail" I lost my cool when she said that.

If it had been a white Tacoma that would have made more sense.

Sorry for the loss ... I hope you're okay!

USAA is the fucking worst. People get all sappy about their commercials and their grand pappy's service in WW2, but they are a sleazy insurance company like all the rest.

Many smaller communities buy insurance just like we do. Larger ones self inside and fight claims all the way. The first step should be to contact your insurance company.

not always worth it. having a branded title can mean a lot of insurance companies won’t touch it and/or the premium could be higher because of it.

Glad nobody was hurt ... be cautious of ALL insurance companies.

Some states grant cities "sovereign immunity" which means that they are rarely responsible for the "first problem/accident with you".

Georgia is one of those states ... never let a city, county or state vehicle hit you in GA.

I remember when a garbage truck ran over a kid (killed him) here and the city did NOT have to pay a penny (even with booze found in the truck).

Photo and document and timeline EVERYTHING.

PS ... It looks totalled ... especially for a 2017 model. ..... If it was a $50K TRD Pro ... they might try to fix it .. depending on the frame.

You won't get extra money for those wheels. Swap them out with mine, and pocket some money! :)
