Put some smooth Michelin tires on it if it's mainly a highway ride. It made a big difference on mine when my old TA/ KO's wore out that were jarring fillings loose in my teeth.

What tire pressure are you running ? It may be part of the problem.

I have never noticed that on mine, maybe it's the bilstein shocks.

The problem is the bouncing floating sensation. I'm thinking new tires, sway bar, with some aftermarket coil overs. When I'm on the highway now it feels like the suspension loads up on the dips and then springs back launching the truck up like it wants to jump. This would be fun as hell on dirt roads, but not a smooth ride on the highway. I'd rather feel the road harshness vs the bouncing pogo stick.

A truck shop has recommended fox 2.0 performance coil overs. Is that over kill? They're asking $1750 for front and back installed, out the door with alignment.

Overkill, yes, if you plan to stay on road. I would just get some Bilstein 5100s to start with, then set them at .85 lift, which will pre-load the existing springs. If that's not enough, can always set them higher.

If it's still not enough, try some stiffer springs.

Also keep in mind that a swaybar only comes into play in corners, not straight line.

I found the stock non-TRD suspension is soft and mushy. But the TRD suspension is stiff and harsh.

But the Icon suspension is perfect.

Early on my TRD would make me motion sick because it would sway a bit. But I changed tires and broke in the suspension a bit and it doesn't sway. Some would consider it harsh but compared to my other car, the Taco is soft.

I wound up widening the stance with some 16x8 rims and swapped the tires to 255 70 16 Michelin ltx ms2's. I added 200 lbs to the bed and she rides like a dream now.
