    Blast from the past on this thread, but I just installed this on my 2019 and wanted to confirm things are working like they should. Should the forward facing camera should come on only after switching from reverse to drive? Or anytime you go into drive? I back into my garage so having the camera on when I put it in drive to pull out would be nice (toddlers are good at leaving stuff in weird places), but I’m not sure if it should be coming on automatically or not.

    In my case, front camera comes on when you press mode twice or when switching from reverse to drive, NOT when you go from park to drive.

    No it doesn't come on automatically unless you reverse first, then go to drive.
