installed yesterday. I wasn't able to use the ziptie over the leather skirt. I don't know how I would be able to do it if I had to screw in the knob. Anyone installed their knob and can help me out.TG_AT_knob.jpg

Screw in the knob, and then zip tie the boot to the bottom.

Edit: You have to pull the console surround.

I pulled the console out to remove the original chrome ring but there is hardly any room. I had to put the console back in position to screw in the knob....after the knob is screwed in, how do I get back under the leather skirt to zip tie around the bottom of the knob?

This knob should have been designed so that the boot just snapped on the bottom like the oem knobs do.

The few peeps that have received their shift knobs are already showing the hassle it is to install. It would've been so much simpler to just screw it on, snap on the boot and be done.

It looks good but it's a poor design. At $100+/- I'm not a buyer.

Got my knob today, I didn't want/need/ask for a switch, and it came without one.

Feels super solid, heavy, I like it for the money.

Mine came in yesterday (Monday). Will install later while have console apart replacing the wireless charger.

However. I wasn't expecting a "complicated" install of this (after reading the instructions and a few other comments here). A simple screw it down and be done with it would've been nice.

    But what's done is done.
