Get some Torx bits and see if you can get one to fit TIGHT. If you can't get it to fit really tight, get the next size up and take off a little bit of the pointed parts of the bit until it does barely fit. Use that to tighten it down the rest of the way.

 

Do they make 2mm Torx bits? Guessing they do, just small

 

It would be a T6 or T7 I believe. Maybe T8

Edit: quick question, does the mount come with a 1” ball mount or not, because when I click on the link on the first post and it took me to a page where it said it did but I couldn’t order from there and then I didn’t realize that the one I could order from didn’t include the 1” ball mount.

 

With the sale for 50$ think it doesnt come with one I ordered one for 10$ with it

 

Got it, was trying to install, and I don’t have a damn #10 drill bit, did anyone use something different?

 

You are indeed missing one “nut-plate” on one of those bottom pieces, I will send a replacement ASAP.
About that nut on the end, did the Allen wrench get stripped or the screw? If it’s the wrench you can try a new wrench but if it’s the screw, try gripping the screw from the top with some vise grips and remove it, I will send you a set of the V2 screws, they are much easier to install.

 

I changed the website to reflect updated pricing and contents.
I found that many people were ordering the DMM and not realizing that there was a ball included so they were ordering a second one.
I also thought that even though most people will use at least one ball mount it’s not right for me to charge everyone for it since some people may not want it or may already have one so instead I figured I would separate the items and reduce the price, I took off $10 for the ball that is no longer ncluded and then I also reduced the price another $5.

I added full mount kits now which are cheaper than buying things separately.

 

That makes more sense, when I first saw the product and it’s contents it said it would be one, then I went to a different location on the website and order the actual product and a 1” ball since I wanted two. Then I went back and was like wait did that product already come with one? And when I looked from where I ordered, it didn’t. But I understand it’s because of the sale that was going on and I’m not trying to get a free one or anything. I was just looking for clarification. Thank you for explaining things out. I’m just gonna order another 1” ball and that’s it, it’s not that big of a deal.

 

Got my DMM in the mail yesterday! Install only took about 30 minutes start to finish and it looks great! I'll get some pics up later today!

 

Yes. I didn't have a #10 so I used a 3/8in. It was just fine.

 

same, screws are a little tight but still easy enough to run through and get fully tightened
