Has anyone wired up a Qi phone mount thing to their DMM? Would wiring it to the other Qi cable so you can turn it on and off with the Qi button be a thing? This would make upgrading/changing phones super easy and not be restricted to whatever cable you run

Right now I've got an iPhone Xr and an Anytone 878 ham radio handheld installed on it. The Anytone is in a Baofeng cradle I saw earlier in this thread from KCK: https://squareup.com/store/KCK which is attached to a Ram ball with built-in 1/4-20 threads. I wasn't sure the Baofeng mount would fit the Anytone, but it fits nice and snug.

 

So it's sold out, right???

 

#10-32 2" socket cap screw. Home Depot has #10 nylon bushings and use a #10 washer. Couldn't find a metal bushing so just used a nylon one.

Haven't gotten a refund.

If you used the promo code, purchased and posted your order number on this thread by Jan 31st, then you would have been part of the Group Buy. Looks like you posted on Feb 1st so unfortunately it looks like you missed it.

 

While that is likely, there was a 10% discount advertised to TW members which I did not receive.

 

I am pretty sure to get the 10%, you also needed to add a promo code. He used to have it posted on his profile. Just DM him. Hopefully he will still honor at least the 10%.

 

The magnet isn't strong enough for my phone and case. I'm gonna try and get the ten magnet wizgear rectangle modded on.

 

If there was a promo code, it wasn't there when I bought but the post did say 10% discount to TW. But that has also been edited out...
