TACO GARAGE - "M4S" Baja Designs Custom Squadron Bezels

We have been selling Baja Designs Lights for a little while now and we love them as much as the rest of you, however, we felt that they could use a little touch up. I like simplicity but I thought the Bajas were a little too simple, our trucks have obviously a very squared off rugged look and the Bajas are kind of the opposite, so, I designed some better looking bezels for all BD squadron lights. We made these so that they can be easily installed and they also enable a bit of customization. They are machined aluminum frames, type III black anodize with color inserts to give them a little accent. They are compatible with all squadron series lights and all warranties still apply. This is what they look like....

I love it! Until I saw that you want $60 for a pair... Curses! My poverty Tacoma will have to remain boring.

 

Yeah we wanted to keep the price down but machining those frames and rising cost of aluminum didn't help. Use TW10 for 10% off though. Once these pick up some steam (if they do) we might be able to make larger quantities and maybe bring down the cost... which now that I think about it, if we can get a group buy going we could definitely bring the cost down....

 

We can customize the color of both the inner and outer frames, inner frames (accent) is relatively inexpensive, $10, but the outer frame is a lot more expensive, $120 per batch for custom colors and we can do up to 20 frames (10 sets) per batch.

I assume you have some kind of machine shop? what kind of equipment do you have?

 

9 Haas mills (mini up to VF-5). 60% of the stuff we run is 6061.

Will these work on Squadron-Rs? I have a set from my bumper that I want to move up to the ditch brackets.

I’d be curious to know if @Baja Designs will warranty lights that have these installed and have moisture issues, whether related or not to the aftermarket covering.

 

I wonder too but I don’t have any official word from them either. However, they do cover lights even if you replace the bezels yourself at any time. They have their “uservice” thing where they actually encourage people to swap lenses on their own so I would be very surprised if they frowned upon these in terms of warranty. You’re not changing absolutely anything that could cause that, the sealing element sits under the lens not under the frame, changing the frame doesn’t change the fact that you still have a seal under the lens. The frame doesn’t touch the seal. The only problem would be if you don’t tighten the screws. But that has nothing to do with the bezel itself.l, and I’m sure Baja would cover that.
Also, if you do buy the bajas from us, (which will get you a sweet deal on The frames) and BD for some reason were to deny the claim, we will cover that.

As there is no evidence that the housing or epoxy was tampered with, you would be totally covered

Is there supposed to be a set of screws included when you order? Mine didn’t cone wit a screw and my factory baja screws are too short to use with this m4s. Thanks @FreshMexicanTaco
