What are the dimensions, including thickness, of the plates you'd use for devices?

 

It will fit the 2021 Tacomas. There is no difference in the dash itself.

I usually use the ram X grip thing, but recently i sliced my thumb tendon clean in half... so i need a one handed option during recovery and have been looking for a replacement!

 

The DMM is separate, but they can be bought as a combo if you dont have the DMM yet, for that you need to go directly to the DMM page

 

it will work fine, 2016-2021 dash is exactly the same as far as the DMM is concerned, no matter what trim of taco you have

 

The rectangle plates are 2.56" x 1.78", round plates are 1.57" in diameter, they are all about .025" thick

What we have found too is that if you use thicker plates or you stack these in layers the attractive force will be higher. our testing and claims are all with a single layer of steel plates though.

 

The magnet is hella strong. I haven't really used it much, but will report back

I'm a bit vague on what I need to do to my phone and tablet to get things to stick. Currently using a Samsung S20FE an Tab S8+. Do I need to get cases for each that have metal in the case, to make this work?

 

Is there a charging version? If not still sold kinda
