I really like the look of the top rack as well. It should make for a slick setup.

I'm going to go ahead with the cab rack now and look forward to the top rack.

Please send me the discount code for the cab rack when you get a chance.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I would buy these if I hadn’t broken off the nut I. The roof of my taco. My prinsu rack is ok, however I like your design better. Maybe one day I will drop the ceiling and have ack that nut.

    Good job bro!

One of the bolts was just slightly longer than it should have been. I believe it bottomed out on the inside of the cab and snapped it :( Driver’s side front

But I am talking like slightly longer which was the weird thing.

Not that weird, we do prinsu installs all the time here and we constantly find messed up hardware,, wrong HW, and they break and strip easily, we've learned to be very careful with their HW, thats why I asked, I figured it was probably related to the HW they provide. Again, thats one of the many things I tried to improve upon when designing this rack.

Their hw is boo-boo. I changed it all out to SS

Good call, but SS isn't always the best, it just doesn't corrode as quickly as others, but you probably knew that.

Yeah, I had a bunch of extra HW I used to make drawer systems for buddies. But it is better than what is sent with the Prinsu. But then again I noticed a change when they were bought out. Also I noticed a difference in the quality of metal and cut of the side rails; as well as hardware.

When I put my trucks together Prinsu was the only maker besides a Aussie style rack, which I do love as well. My background is Landcruisers, and the products associated with them.

Is the installation for something like this pretty easy? I have an existing factory roof rack but I'm not sure if I would screw up the installation lol

It’s a nice roof rack if I hadn’t bought my Prinsu during Black Friday I would be all over this!

    It’s easy.
But if you already have a roof rack it’s even easier. The “hard” part is when you don’t have a roof rack and you want to cut holes into the weatherstrip, you don’t have to worry about that

Good looking rack, I'd be interested if you guys ever did a half-rack that would fit under a GFC.

Look what just arrived. I’m excited. The bad news is it will be next week before I get to install it. The good news is I can’t work on the truck because we are going camping this weekend.

I got one too! UPS wasn’t so kind to mine but there’s no significant damage. One cross bar has a scratch.

I just finished my install. It took about 2-1/2 hours to complete.

This looks great and the price point is gentler than most of the competition. Two quick random questions. How does it mount/seal to the cab? Like is it a rubber compression or are we siliconing it? Pics dont show the mounting feet very well.

Now the oddball question, is it a suitable hammock anchor point? How about 2 hammocks? Any general thoughts on lateral loading like that?

Thanks for the time and effort and congratulations on what looks like a great product.

for mounting it came with 8 bolts with spacers. I set them in silicone. Drilling the trim was the biggest challenge and mine looks completely wonky right now.

Got mine installed last night! I painted the side pieces MGM to match the truck. The sticker was added to the fairing also.
