    I'm also looking to buy. I'm debating between OEM vs aftermarket garnish. Are a lot of people still getting errors on the aftermarket one?

    Not to sound rude, but can you shows us “a lot of people” that have had issues with OP’s aftermarket garnish? The OP is the one that started the thread outing many of the fake garnished so I am sure he feels confident in the one he uses.

    Your right, in my haste I phrased the question wrong. Thanks for catching that. But I am still curious as to whether people are getting errors with these aftermarket garnishes (like other aftermarket garnishes mentioned by users on this site)?

    Cool. Was the installation pretty straightforward/did you have any sensor alignment issues? I’ve read about having to add extra washers to tilt the sensor.

    aftermarket garnishes, just like the grilles themselves, are made by a few different factories and not all of them are the same, they all look 90% the same but they don’t all perform the same.
    The one I sell works, 99.9% of time. Either that or our customers don’t tell us about it. And you know the TW crowd would be quick to point that out.
    I’m sure other people sell good ones too but I don’t know as I haven’t bothered buying from everyone else to test.
    OEM would be the best if Toyota wasn’t charging so much for it. Second best, a quality aftermarket version. @burntaco215 if you take price into consideration, aftermarket is the way to go. You won’t find a real OEM for under 300 and if you do, be very skeptical about it.

    I have seen nothing but positive feedback about the one you offer but yeah OEM garnish is obviously the best choice if feasible. I don't believe the current asking price for OEM is considered feasible. Lol! I will be grabbing one of your grilles and garnish very soon. I had an OEM grille on my '17 when i sold it but i would never pay that price for the grille or the garnish for my '19. I believe from all that I have seen that your grille is just as good if not better and I would rather just have the aftermarket garnish.
