Ford ended US made Ranger manufacturing in 2011, how many Ford Rangers do you see on the road today compared to Toyota HilUX,Tacoma, pre 2011 manufactured trucks I see zillions on the road compared to Ford Rangers, that just goes to show how shitty Ford trucks are and cannot even come close to Toyota quality and durability in the long run.

Regardless of what some people around here think....Tacos fly off my local dealers lot according to one of the new car managers that I know. They do so with zero incentives. Once in awhile TFS may offer a special APR. But Toyota hasn't had "cash on the hood" on the Taco since around '09 or so, during the midst of the financial crisis. And even then it was only $400 IIRC.

And used ones? Forget it. They get sucked up quicker than a $2 whore drinkin' man gravy.

That said.....I hope the competition continues to grow. That's good for us the consumer. Toyota probably sat on their laurels a bit with the G3 rig....not wanting to mess with what's worked for so many years. But they aren't stupid. They'll continue to feel the heat from new comers and will work hard to stay on top of the mid sized market. And for those who are loyal to the brand, that can only be a good thing

They might be socially stunted adults or they could actually be 8th graders. No telling, just like some on TW.

My buddy drives a Ridgeline. We had planned to go wheeling together but he was having his period.

AND if you are an older kinda truck guy...your rear end is likely leaking a little also..... Check your truck. It's rear end may be leaking also.
If yer rear end is howling, slow down and don't walk so fast.. hehe

It was only for 2 or 3 days and people are busy at that time so it is easily missed.

I see shit loads of Rangers around. And the later model years are holding their value well. It was a great truck and if Ford doesn't muck it up too much and my taco is still worth what I paid as it is now I will very seriously consider getting one. Must be manual trans and no bigger than a taco or the twins. I feel like the twins are bigger than the taco.

Not nationwide it was only for the mid-atlantic region... didn't apply to 95% of prospective Tacoma buyers.

I don't see near as many Rangers on the road compared to pre 2011 Toyota trucks which I see everywhere. I see more chevy S10 trucks than I see Rangers and way way more Toyotas than both combined

Yah, I hear you. The Tacoma couldn't tow a salmon upstream, but the Colorado well it could do that and tow the Tacoma at the same time.

    Same as everybody else...
I can't speak for everybody but I had a 99 Ranger that was bulletproof. It did everything I ever asked of it and it never failed or left me stranded. I gifted it too a buddy earlier this year cause he found himself without wheels. I gave it to him with about 185k on it, he has it close to 200k right now. Everything except the clutch and alternator are original, same oil pump, starter, fuel pump. If my Tacoma last as long as my Ranger I'm satisfied. The only reason I got the Tacoma is cause I found myself driving the grandkids around and needed the extra.cab.
