I would think it's not a bed issue. The bed seems in line with the cab. I'd guess suspension..

Note that “taco lean” is normal and nothing to worry about.

Looks like the shop forgot to remove something from the passenger rear.

Not meaning to be a jerk, but if all the things the people on this site says is "normal for a Taco" no one would've ever bought this truck. So I have to laugh internally a bit when I see that comment. If that was a troll attempt, well played. LOL

Did the shop install the leaf springs on a car lift? If they tightened the bolts with the wheels in the air then the bushings will bind and cause it to do that. You could try loosening the front bolt and both shackle bolts on both sides then bounce the truck and retighten them.

Do you understand that springs compress a distance relative to how much force is applied to them and, because the truck’s weight is not evenly distributed, the 4 spring’s compression is not the same?

You cannot any expect car to be 100 level (unless it has some sort of active suspension that automatically levels the car).

Even if you managed to get your truck perfectly level, it would cease to be perfectly level once you got in the driver’s seat.

i’m not sure what they installed them. can i loosen them without a jack? they are known for doing toyota suspension so i never thought it would be a suspension problem.

You can. If it was done recently I would take it back to them. The truck didn't lean before they put the springs right? If so this is warranty or a mistake on the installer. The RXT leafs have 3 or 4 different ways to set them up and if they didnt mach it left to right that could be the problem too. Count how many leafs are in the left and right leaf spring packs and make sure they match

Could be an honest mistake, it happens. Maybe the new guy worked on your truck, you never know

It did with mine. If you think of frame/cab of the truck as a rigid rectangle, if you lift the front drivers side it theoretically should lower the passenger rear a little and also raise the driver rear a little and help flatten it all out. At least thats how I interpreted it but I also could be wrong. My driver side was about 1/2" lower than my passenger side so I had it raised that much and it seems to fixed the lean for the most part.

Alright i’ll call them then, i never noticed or no one ever pointed the lean out before i got new springs, i replaced them because the ride was stiff and they were used for heavy hauling before i bought the teuck

His looks to be a few inches of lean though. I am wondering if they put one to many leafs in the passenger side of the RTX leafs.

I'd be interested in photos of the leaf springs on both sides of the truck so we can compare them. Taco lean is definitely a thing, but I haven't seen one that bad.

Something like this would make sense. Or again, like i mentioned above, if one rear spring was heavier duty, or had an extra leaf to counter the lean, and it was placed on the wrong side.
