2.5 Pro Comp coilovers Chebay plate bumper
Hey Guys, so I've been searching and searching for more info on the taco lean. when I picked up my truck there wasn't a noticeable lean. but I recently installed Pro Comp 2.5 coilovers. now the lean is extremely noticeable and a real pain in my ass. everything says put a spacer on the front drivers side to fix the lean... could someone explain how putting a spacer in the front will fix the lean in the rear? thanks in advance y'all.

ok first, welcome to tacoma World! and second "taco lean" is for the front left (due to extra weight), so your correct, it shouldn't affect the back. also your coilovers are adjustable, no need for a spacer, if you do have taco lean in the front just crank the up alil. as for the rear, did you change anything in the rear suspension?

**EDIT nvm you joined awhile ago i just saw 2nd message and assumed...

i guess a severe enough lean could become notable in the rear, adjust those CO's so your front sits level at least and if your rear is still uneven then :notsure:

ok, a couple of ways to fix the lean. Sure cranking up CO's will get you even in the front, but the extra preload will make the ride a little harsher, no big deal for most but I preferred to place a 1/2 Toytec spacer above my coil over to fix that and kept the preload adjustments the same on both sides. The rear. You can put a 1/2" spacer under the driver side leaf pack to fix that. I used replacement leaf packs that were side specific with the driver side having more arc to compensate for the lean. The spacer fix is cheap and effective and cranking the CO's on the driver side is cheaper yet but may not fix the rear lean.
