My truck, a 2006 TRD O/R, from day one never sat correctly. It was always seemingly lower than other Tacomas and it leaned. Despite the several TSBs for the leaf pack, it still sat low and leaned.

So, now it sits on a Toytec Ultimate lift (adjustable coil overs) with the AL rear and of course it still leaned. But I gained exactly 2 inches rear and 3 inches plus on front on each side. After letting the suspension settle a little I adjusted the driver front down .5 inches, the passenger front down 3/8 inch (I wanted to drop overall height too, adjustments are a 2:1 ratio, 1/4 inch coil over = 1/2 inch of lift)) and then I added a steel 1/2 inch shim on the driver rear leaf pack.

I may let the fronts settle some more if they do and drop the front a skosh more just to reduce overall lift to 2.5 inches because the front is still proud of 2.5 inches lift.

On another topic, what good are the removed front coil overs? Are the TRD O/R springs worth saving for a buddy or something?

Ok pictures of said lifted truck are mandatory! Old suspension is worth a couple hundred bucks ...or donate them.

And I’m just leaving Lawerence for Las Vegas.
