I installed an adjustable lift and fine tuned the lean out. Left front is 7/32nds longer (higher) to adjust for it, rear is level with new kit and shims.FD811067-B281-434E-BB95-B1EC8B74FFD4.jpg

Some Taco owner added 1/4" only to the driver side. Trying to maximize the lift I can get. The driver front side fixed the rear taco lean a little for now. I am only off 1/4".

I hope my front will settle 1/2" lower.
    I kinda like the rake

The taco lean comes from the front suspension. It seems weird but the rear lean will solved by the different perch settings on the front. It will "pull" the rear up.

My truck had more than 1.5" difference between driver front and passenger rear and now it's dead flat side to side and a healthy 2" rake front to back.

So you added the 1/4” spacer to both sides ??

Doing that does nothing to fix your Taco lean, you just raised the front up higher while maintaining the Taco lean. You can either remove the passenger side spacer or add a 1/2” spacer to the drivers side and keep the 1/4” spacer on the passenger side. Doing that however would require longer strut bolts on the drivers side.

This looks to be the difference when looking at your numbers. Maybe remove it from the passenger side and you'll be fine.

This was my experience as well. It looks like the drive shaft pumpkin is left of center putting more weight on the driver side...guess...but the rear comes up with front adjustment.

The Tacoma TRD Pro tuned front driver side has a higher perch than the passenger side.
That probably helped out a little bit.

For any reasons, it helped my rear driver raised up 1/2" higher.
Hope it stays that way when the fronts suspensions settle.

Glad to find this thread as I've been trying to fix my Taco Left Lean for a bit. I have a 6" BDS lift w/Fox 2.5 Adj. coilovers. After settling for a while, my measurements are:
    DF: 40.5"
    PF: 41.5"
    DR: 40.5"
    PR: 41.5"

As you can see, the front/rear is neutral/same, which is fine. The Left is also exactly 1" lower on Left than Right. So, I jacked up the front left, loosened the collar and twisted the ring down to now have 2.25" of threads, which in the 2:1 ratio, worked well so far. Now on the DF, I sit at 41" (again, PF is still 41.5") so I figure I repeat the procedure and add another 1/4" of preload on the DF and that should fix the Left/Right on the fronts.

I wouldn't mind leaving the pre-loads the same and instead putting in a 1/2" strut top plate. I've heard comments that this will totally mess up the geometry - but I'm left scratching my head as 1/2" doesn't seem THAT much. With the new cross member, longer knuckles, etc - axles are level and look great.

Anyway - the rears are still a full 1" out of synch, with the Left being lower than the Right. The rears are NOT adjustable, of course - they just have the 4" block between the rear axle and Springs. Any solution here? Do they make a 1/2" spacer to ADD to the rear block, or....This is all an aesthetic thing - truck feels fine driving, just would really like to get her level.

I measured the front today after driving 10 miles... some road bumps and stuffs...
It settled a little bit and it's now 37.5" both side.

The rear the lean came back I have 1/2" rear driver lean. It sucks but ooh well.
I will add a leaf later when I get my rock sliders may be on Christmas or next year.

Don't add a leaf to one side only. The lean will flip to the other side and the mismatched spring rates will drive like garbage.

Are you really leaning? When I measure from the ground to the fender the driver side is 1" lower, but when I put a level on my tailgate, the roof and hood it sits 100% level

I see ToyTec makes a 1/4" spacer for the front shock tower. I might have fixed 1/2" of the 1" lean with adding preload. And might use a 1/4" spacer for the final 1/2" (it's 2:1).

Has anyone tried using an adjustable airbag (Firestone Ride Rite or AirLift) suspension. They are designed to work as load levelers, but they can be kept at sightly different pressures side-to-side (could inflate the driver's side more to match the height of the PS.) If you have tried this, how's the ride when there is no load in the bed?

I had taco lean and I used the toytec front spacer and the rear 1/2 block and it sits perfectly level now. After I got a shell it sits a bit lower in the back so I’m going to put a 2” AAL in and set my Bilsteins in the front on the 2nd setting. I’m wondering should I pull my spacer in the front and set the drivers shire coil over at 3 and passenger at 2? Then should I also use the Bock with my AAL?

I have the Firestone bags. With no load it feels the same as stock to me. I run 8-9 psi with no load.
I haven't noticed any lean on my truck but theoretically you could adjust the psi to be a little higher on the side that needed to be raised to level it.
