    Hey all-
    Brand new Tacoma owner (2018 Super White TRD Sport), and I'm a little amazed by the depth and passion of the Tacoma (or "Taco", as I have quickly learned-lol) community. My truck was bone-stock for only a day or two, as the desire to ...make...better...set in almost immediately. I have installed a LUND brush/bull bar with LED, swapped out the docile Firestones for killer Falken Rubitrek 265 70R17's, lifted and leveled the truck 2.5", switched the Hitachis for Bilstein 5100's, added an ARE MX topper and Ascend rooftop basket w/ LED by Rival and put those tinted rain shields on the windows. Let's see, what else? It's pretty clean, if still a little basic-looking, compared with some of the spaceships on this forum. I live in the Midwest, where rad Tacomas are not super common, but I get West to canyon country two or three times a year (my parents have a ranch above Las Vegas, New Mexico, and the access road is sketchy). Photo is me and Taco the instant I got him home (pre-mods). Well, happy to have the new Mountain Truck of my dreams, and happy to be here amongst you all. Cheers.
