    lol yes it is. Hey just curious do you use any special type of nylon for those ratchet straps? Ive had mine up for like a year or so and the nylon is basically starting to tear because of sun damage and UV rays/weather I'm guessing?

    They are brand new but my old one was 3 years old and looking frayed.. I think they just degrade no matter what.

    I would love to find some of the ones with extra wires in them for rigidity and theft protection.

    yea thats what i was thinking, hopefully by the time mine fully disintegrate and fall apart i will have a BAMF bed rack w/ tire carrier.

    It's a one off from Tyler Pelfy at Pelfybilt offroad here on the site.

    It's the only first gen hes made as far as i know.

    I picked up some 1 inch thicker stronger tie downs from ORW for $15 and re routed my cable lock with a U lock.
    I was at a Motorcycle store in Temecula and they have some beefy tie downs with rotating ends. I was tempted to pick them up but at $40 a pair its not needed at the moment.

    I will post pics later.
