nicee sliders! were u get those turn signals? and same wiring or wat u have to do?

 

they are actually side marker led lights, they arent very bright but its ok.

They are sold at every auto parts store.

Had them mounted on a plate and mounted to the frame, tapped a wire from the actual turn signal and they work together with no LED hyper blink.

 

alright ill do something like that. or just use stock ones haha there smoked out anyways so they shouldnt be too noticeable

I am curious about what differences you have found between the Fox COs and the Icons now that you've had a chance to drive on them for a bit.

 

I have yet to use them off road, they sit the same height and are smooth on the road.. I wouldnt be able to tell them apart if I didnt know.

I need to crank the preload a little bit to raise up the nose soon though.

 

Well, looking forward to any feedback you might care to share. I am considering switching from SAWs to the Foxes myself.

have you noticed a big difference in the urethane body mounts?

 

Since they went on with the fox front coil overs, No but it was piece of mind since the old ones were pretty worn.

All together the truck is more tighter feeling and more responsive with sharp steering.

 

At first I thought my cab was moving a lot too. But after the motor mounts I cant feel the cab move at all. I think the weight of the motor shifting makes it feel like the cab is moving when its not. I do notice more squeeking from the cab and window rattling now, but I crossed off body mounts for now

 

I wanted to ask, not to bug you, but when you replaced the motor and trans mounts you had rubbing problems with the fan?
I need to replace mine, and decades ago I did it one my SER, and when I had alot of work done on my mustang, I went ahead and replaced them since everything was torn out... but I never had that kind of problem.
I really felt the difference, and the stronger mounts really made the car/truck very solid, i was just sort of shocked by this problem.

 

Mine is barely touching at start up but goes away after about 10 seconds at idle. Jberry813 said his was rubbing much more than mine and he has taken his back out to put a "shim" in to raise the front of the motor just a hair. The problem is the solid mounts are a tiny bit shorter than the stock rubber mounts

 

The truck is tight as hell now, I just trimmed the lower radiator shroud where it was rubbing. No loss in cooling and it's not rubbing anymore. The vibrations are annoying but you get used to it.

The truck seems to make much more noise than before but who cares, it's a mall crawler extreme. Haha
