I need a mechanic that can drop the tranny and put in a new clutch. I really dont like dealers.

If it’s 6-speed simply replacing the clutch won’t make it better nor fix the problematic throwout bearing squeal and damage it causes to the bellhousing snout

there’s always independent shops for half the price or having a dealer tech do it as a side job

Yes its 6 speed with 170000 miles. I had some heavy towing and there is some jumping at startup
