I bought a DCSB cause i'm too practical but I think ACLB is by far the winner.

I'm fixing to pull the trigger on one. Don't want the hassle of the hard top.

If I didn't have to work I wouldn't have a truck, I'd have have a '69 GT Veloce. But since I do work and don't haul chitlin's it's an AC for me. I like the 1st Gen styling much more than the second which appear bulbous and frog like but they still weren't putting access doors on them when I might have bought one.

Would prefer the long bed, but not available with the manual transmission, and I don't do automatics.

I have an Idea of replacing suicide doors with a sliding style as found on minivans.

Not really. Why do you think a pre runner isn't a real 2wd truck?

Because I am a mini-trucker at heart, and being able to lower a truck and put big wheels on it brings back good memories. Also, not everyone wants a pre-runner, for MPG and other reasons. Based on the vast number of that style of truck I see in use by pest control business and everything else, I can't imagine Toyota was in the red on that style, not sure why they discontinued them.

    Gotcha now.

Sounds like an X Runner is what you need to find. A lowered 5 lug with 18" wheels and the 4.0. [IMG]

We stayed a few nights each in Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Sukhothai and Chiang Mai and visited villages in the country, on farms and in the mountains. We rode in canal boats, river shuttles, tuk tuks, trains, shuttle vans, smaller jet and a comfortable large coach/bus while there. So much to see and the historic 600 to 800 y/o structures are spectacular.
Traveling with a tour was a bit more expensive, but having a set schedule allowed us to see so much with all food and travel between cities and around towns taken care of by the guide. We ate our way through the country. It was so awesome, I could have done an additional two weeks.CB87330A-B410-4B28-B85D-3FA3C3EEFCF2.jpg 74D45436-16F4-4935-8164-4B73BEE945B1.jpg 13B39789-66ED-4841-B205-FF2A0DEFE23C.jpg F4336742-39FF-40C4-ABE6-AC842D884C36.jpg 72C12A62-553C-400C-BAE8-2DAACE4E81EF.jpg
