have you thought about mounting the CPU under the seat and running the video cables to an in-dash mounted monitor?

not under the seat but I did think about putting into the gloves box. But I really wanted to have something that fits into a double DIN. and having the flex arm does make a lot of sense for the passenger (thinking about the wife who will be able to browse while I'm driving)
