We will not be leaving anyone high and dry. That's not how we run our business, it's why we're on on here working with the community and why we continue to stay in business for the past 71 years.

We are in a challenging spot where we do not have a solution ready to send out yet, but are aware of the condition and aware of the concern. Know that we are finalizing a solution to make sure those who have purchased, or purchased and installed this kit will be taken care of accordingly whether they choose the updated solution or to return to stock.

For those of you who have not received an email yet and are experiencing the squeak, or have the springs uninstalled and would simply like to return, please reach out to Tanner at thallihan@eibach.com, or call 951-256-8300 and ask for him.

I got the email just now and replied. I bought the springs to compensate for sag after I install my CBI hidden winch mount, winch, and AGM battery. Not really wanting a lift, but just want to handle more weight at stock height. I have not installed those things yet so I still have my springs in the box so unfortunately I can't provide them any data to help with their research.

I greased everything when I installed the springs and a pair of AAL. To be fair, I am battling a AAL squeak as well, but that squeak is very easily identified coming from a particular spot.

I greased all the bushings and other parts when I put the springs in my shocks. When the squeak first started, it really only did it when I rocked the truck side to side and when I was going over bumped at a lower speed. But when it got worse, the noise was clearly coming from some where on the top of the shock. It would make the noise just driving down the road slowly. It didn’t necessarily rule out the UCAs making the noise, but when I took the shock out and took a look at the top hat, it was very clear what was going on.

I may have spoken too soon. Seems like there's a bit of a squeak now

Yup. I’d be very careful. There’s a squeak when the dampening rod wears on bushing on the inside of that top hat.

And then there’s the squeak when that bushing is toast and it’s metal on metal and the inner hole on the top hat gets bored out by the dampening rod.

I’d say a little understated…also seems they aren’t doing a great job of tracking who’s complained already.

I’d say, just from the conversations I’ve had with Mark via email, that they are diligently working to get this squared away. Completely turned any doubt I had.

Yah, yah, they took care of me already, and with the quickness. The email just got under my skin.

I got a call, but have not heard anything back since. Let me just say that this squeaking has made the truck UNBEARABLE to drive. The apparent lack of load and road testing on the prototype truck has all but made me lose faith in Eibach's engineering process. This noise manifested within a few days of putting the springs on and is consistent with an ill aligned top hat bushing. It's absolutely stemming from uneven pressure at the top hat... this should have been caught in dev. The noise is incessant, hear it below (driving 10mph on a level, freshly paved street).

@mark@eibach It's really embarrassing to drive through parking lots or down my street sounding like I'm driving a creaky bed frame in an "overused" motel room. I'm begging you guys to make this right. A new Tacoma shouldn't sound like a Ford or Ram, creaking everywhere it goes.

I'm in the same boat. My suspension was flawless until this install. After replacing the springs using local shop's strut compressor, the alignment was still bang on (i did mark the control arm bushings prior to removing everything just in case). I had significantly greater issues reinstalling the driver's side though.

Thanks for your patience gents. As we couldn't / can't find any SoCal PRO owners, we opted to purchase a loaded pair of front PRO suspension. Unfortunately we were sent the 19' dampers in error by the dealership and have the corrected parts on order. This was my update as of Tuesday, and we're anticipating arrival in approximately 1 week, at which time we will be installing them on a 3rd gen (ready on standby) to confirm which of our solutions (helical rise isolator, ground spring or adjusted coil design) we will move forward with.

I can assure those with the kit installed will be taken care of accordingly. Further details to follow. For those who would like to take action immediately and return their vehicle to factory configuration, please contact: thallihan@eibach.com

@TuRDLYFE - the location in your avatar looks like you live in CA? Are you in SoCal?

I haven’t uninstalled my coils yet but don't plan on driving the truck until I do.

Don't assume. Make sure to reach out to Tanner, we're here to help.

    UPDATE:
We received 1 out of 2 of the correct shock packages this week. 1 of them was a standard Bilstein :|. We're working on getting the correct one overnighted by the dealership.
