I got an email from Tanner yesterday saying their revised springs will be available to ship in a few weeks.

I still have the original springs that I never got around to installing. Unsure of what they want me to do with them.

@mark@eibach Can you share some info on the revised springs?

The right thing for Eibach to do would be to let you swap them for the new revised springs.

Any other details about the new revised springs? Did they just flat grind the top?

    Hey Everyone,

Thank you for your patience as we have worked through the process here. We tested three variations (adjusted pitch, helical rise isolator and flat ground) and found that the flat ground top yielded the best results at static and on and off-road testing. Now that is complete, these new revised springs were moved to the front and currently in production (in grinding to be precise) and scheduled for completion in the next couple of weeks. We're trying to get these out to you guys ASAP.

If you haven't already done so, please make sure to reach out to Tanner in order to initiate the replacement process!

We are going to send a label to get the old springs back, so if you're ready we'll send you a label. Just drop Tanner a line again.

We've just got some updates from production mentioned above. We will be working with each person on a case by case basis, so please reach back out to Tanner in regards to labor cost.

I sent Tanner an email tonight. Still have not heard anything via email about this at all. I called about two months ago and never got added to his list of impacted customers. It's frustrating that I never got an initial call either once Eibach found there was an issue...

Will the first batch of production be for replacements only? Or will they be available for new customers as well?

    Yeah.
Wow, so much negativity. From what I have seen, Eibach has admitted there is a problem, communicated well, and has taken actions to correct the issue. Frustrating situation for many, for sure, but they are standing behind their product and name. More than you get from a lot of companies these days.

Do you have something of value to add?

My thoughts exactly. Seems like a lot of squawking over a little squeaking

Wow you guys are very understanding.

Did either of you PAY to have these springs installed on your trucks and experience the squeaking?

    .
I paid for the springs and paid to have them installed. My truck has been squeaking for a few months and a few thousand miles. Bummed about it, but also how all of this modding works -- voided warranties and no guarantees.

Agree with @TenBeers, @skeletron, and others: @mark@eibach, @Tanner H, and Eibach have been responsive and forthcoming. It didn't happen at the speed of light, but they heard us, investigated, and are developing a solution. Would it have been better to not go through all of this, sure, but this kind of support makes them stand out.

The springs didn't cost much to begin with, it doesn't seem like a cash grab, and they're being cool about the issue. What's up with all the negativity?

Why not just let it play out. All the doubting Thomases and Negative Nancys can say "I told you so" if we get burned.
