Just springs in the front with lo-pro bumper and winch. Icon stage 3 RTX leaf pack in the back. I don't measure anything. Eyeballs say much improvement.

Not trying to derail the thread but I'm assuming a lot of members following this thread would be curious as well:notsure:
How do you guys like the aftermarket leaf packs compared to the stock ones combined with the springs?
I'd rather get new leafs than do the block in the rear:thumbsup:
    Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Leaf pack or AAL every time if ever going off road or carrying weight.

    Agreed! Thanks for the response.
How do they ride compared to the stock leaf packs? I've heard good things about the Icons.
I ask more for off-road reasons than the weight. I'm more of a ground tent type of guy:thumbsup:

Amazing. Just squeaky like all of them. Working my grease gun through there to try and combat that.

Thanks again, nice looking truck by the way.
You'd think someone could design some that don't freaking squeak!?!

I finally got the time to install my springs after letting them sit in my garage for 4 months…

install was easy and I gained 1.5” like advertised. It’s only been 1 day so far but no issues so far.

(tire size is stock 265/70R16, rear lift is Icon RXT leaf pack stage 1 with about 2” of lift for reference)

Hey @mark@eibach, I've been loving my 2019 eibach lift springs for my Pro for years. However I am planning to add a front bumper and winch. Is there an option with a higher spring rate to give me some lift back that I will lose due to extra weight? I would like to continue using my Fox shocks, so looking for spring options that are red and have the flat tops and bottoms.

    Thanks!

So you already have these springs, but want to add a bumper and get the lift these springs provide back? If thats so, your only option is to get the Westcott designs kit to add to the eibach springs. Using their spring perches with the eibach springs with get you back up to lifted height with a metal bumper.
You could also do spacers, but most people around here are against spacers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am currently running the Eibach springs, and also run a 1/4 inch spacer on top to get some of the height back that was lost due to sliders and full skids.

I am wondering that with the Westcott designs spring perches, will it add too much preload to the springs? Seems like with the eibach springs being .75 inches longer than the stock Pro springs, that is mean to add preload. But adding WD perches for more preload, will that significantly decrease up travel?

Just wanted to explore options before getting all new front coilovers with potentially 700LB 14in springs.

There are a few people on here with both westcott kit and the eibach springs. Im not sure who, but I have not seen any complaints about using that setup.
But it is really pushing the shocks well past their limits.

    Yeah.
The best option is to match the spring rate to the load. Adding extra spring length and/or preload only goes so far to retain height/lift as you add more weight. Seems like most people are just using the springs to get some extra lift, not deal with extra weight. I think you have the right idea on higher-rate springs if you are adding a steel bumper, winch, and have full steel sliders and skids.

Yup! That's why I am hoping @mark@eibach has some options. Would love a similar spring to what I currently have for my '19, just a heavier spring rate.

Hi,well I was at my dealership and they said I can’t buy the coil only for my 2019.
A lot of these have been broken and are showing in a few posts.
I can’t just replace one side as that would be a compromise as the other side is now 4 years old.
Nothing is being done by admission of faulty materials, design or both.
Not cheap by any means,so to go through this bend over session, I would be better off either dumping the fox system and replacing it with something else or getting the new design of the 2020 up,since the coils are not shaved/cut or whatever else they are called.
You can go to a scrap yard and pull out 30 year old springs, very disappointed thus far, only had the truck for 1 year…and now this…

    Yeah.
I'm sure you can find an aftermarket coil if you just want the coil, but I would still replace both sides just to be sure things are matched as far as spring rate and length. I believe Toyota gets these as an assembled unit from Fox (who gets the spring from Eibach?), so it doesn't surprise me that you can't get only the spring from Toyota.

I personally am likely just going to buy a new OEM set when it is time to get mine rebuilt, swap them out and have plenty of time to mess with the rebuild.

Well as the saying goes, you gotta pay to play.. I found a complete 2020 suspension just after posting this,I will ask about the mileage of the car when it got hit and if anything else is messed up with the suspension.
I am not sure what exactly constitutes a full suspension system..as the post says “full suspension” I take it that the leaf springs are also different specs than my 2019.
Or I can just purchase the Eibach coils and keep costs down as I would be looking near $4000 Canadian from my local dealer…just for the front with labor and alignment…

Just to not add confusion in this thread as your two posts seemed to come out of nowhere. This person is talking about his stock TRD Pro springs and not the Eibach extended springs. For reference, look here at his other thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-trd-pro-front-coil-springs-in-black.815755/.

Not trying to be a dick but your two posts here make it sound like you purchased Eibach extended springs which broke. Just want to clear this up as many of the 20+ owners are already on edge with some of the issues the were experiencing earlier on (which Eibach has since fixed with an updated design).

With that said, I just found a great deal on the front springs for my 2017 (Tire Rack has one more set left at the discounted price). Purchased the Eiback 1" rear blocks separately. Once I get around to installing the kit, I'll take some before/after pics. I'm already running 285's with the stock setup (used a heat gun to push some of the tire well plastic back a bit. minimal rubbing and only at full lock in very specific situations) so getting a little more clearance will be very welcoming. I've been lurking in this thread for years but now that my 2017 is getting up there in age and because the feedback from the under 2019 crowd has been favorable, why not give it a little bump higher? Debated between Westcot and Eibach and pulled the trigger on the Eibach. Much more straightforward and sounds ike a bit better ride quality compared to the Westcot.

I just scooped a complete suspension off a 2019 trd pro, before I knew about the breaking spring issues. My options are:

    1) Send it as is and hope for the best.

    2) Have the factory coils re-coated and then proceed to option 1.

    3) lift my 2019 trd offroad with the eibach lift springs and stock pro shocks.

My questions/concerns with option 3 are: is the eibach lift spring for the 2019 trd pro plagued by the same issue of the coils breaking? Is there a source for the updated lower perch to use a non-truncated spring? Does eibach sell an equivalent to the factory spring?
