Have you checked out Westcott design front fox lift kit? It acts like a coilover suspension. Adding some preload will remove the weight off the truck thus lifting it about an 1". same way adjustable coil over works. The question is how much preload is too much for our fox shocks

He could do the 10mm spacer on top of the coilover so it won’t need to be taken apart and space the bump stop down 1/4 inch and it would net a little lift and in the case of a bottom out the bump will work as designed. Basically space the bump stop close to the same as the spacer you put on the truck. You don’t loose any travel but anymore that the 10mm spacer and the springs will more than likely rub the factory upper control arm when fully extended just enough to take the paint off but not enough to hurt anything but feelings.

But, would that mess up the geometry? since its pushing the whole strut lower? The wescott doesnt affect the geometry, that is the reason im leaning towards it. But im going to wait until Eibach (Possibly) makes the lift spring for our pros.

YES!!! No trd pro owner wants to give up their 2.5 shock body. AND most trd pro owners do want to lift their trucks another inch or 2. YOU should post this on IG also.

They both add spacers on top of the coil, the wescott just adds the preload spacer on the bottom to get a little more lift because you can’t add it all to the top to get 1.5” otherwise you bottom then shock out first. So looking back through my pics of when I pulled the pro fox shocks apart and cycled them with different spacers you can get away with adding 1/4” spacer on top without doing anything and the 1/2“ spacer requires the bump stop to be spaced down 1/4”. Looking at the wescott the top spacer looks to be about 3/8”-1/2“ tall. If you space the coilover anymore then you will need new upper control arms and you will have to space the bump stop more which is not the right way to do it.
Here is a list of suspension I have run on my truck: factory off road bilsteins, bilsteins with 1/4” spacer, then 1/2” spacer, then switched to the falcon 2.25 shocks, then to the Trd stock pro fox shocks, pro shocks with 1/4” spacer and 1/2” spacer, and now the adjustable fox 2.5 resi with dsc adjuster. I removed the coil from each shock and fully cycled the suspension each time I changed suspension.

I bought the deaver u402 stage 1, still running the TRD pro rear shocks because I’ve been doing other mods and haven’t had time to build new mounts for my longer rear shocks. I had the factory rear leafs, then the icon AAL and now the deavers all with the pro shocks, they for sure rode pretty good with the icon AAL

Right about 2 inches of lift. They are for sure more firm but I don’t bottom out the rear nearly as much now which is nice.

Oh ok! Nice. Did you add a bigger bump stop also? Which front lift you running?

I added fox air bumps in the back, the front is set at about 1.5 inches of lift.

I had the pro shocks on the truck for about 5k right before I put the fox 2.5 adjustable shocks on. I was pretty impressed at how well they handled compared to the stock bilstein and even the Falcon shocks.

Yep, I didn’t see a point in changing them until I do 12 inch travel in the back because the stock pro shocks are the longest shock you can fit in the rear at stockish height, They are like 9.5 inch travel which is pretty good for a stock shock.

Oh ok cool! Yea there’s not a lot of info on the stock trd pro fox shocks specs. I’ve seen some. All the research I found in as they are pretty close to the Aftermarket fox 2-3” shocks. Thanks dude

I thought you heard. Tw vehicles pulled out in front of me at an intersection. I was doing 50mph or less. The posted speed. The first vehicle made it. The second wasn't as lucky. I was lucky to get the equity outta the Sport. State Farm doesn't recognize aftermarket modifications.

Holy cow! Looks like you got hit hart. On a side note, I have Progressive insurance. I have an option on mine to insure mods. I have to state the value of the mods, make sure I have backup, and pay extra (it's not cheap, but the option is there).

    Hope you are recovered!
