    I would have definitely looked into this before gutting my pro Suspension and replacing with something else.

    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    I am sure many feel the same. I would like to get some life out of these before they are tossed/sold. I clear my 255/85/16 no problem, so really I am looking to fix the rake.

    Another 1 -1.5 inches of lift in the front would be amazing while being able to keep the stock fox shocks.

    Question: I completely understand how making a longer spring to lift the front is easy and straight forward as travel in the front will remain unchanged. The question I have is in regards to the rear. If a block or an AAL is installed, doesn’t the travel in the rear increase... causing potential damage to the stock Pro rear shocks from over extension? I can’t seem to get a solid answer regarding this.

    posting my questions again to try to get @Ryan at Eibach's attention.

    @Ryan at Eibach how will you guys be approaching this? Will the spring rate be the same as stock and you'd be adding additional height? Or will you be increasing both spring rate and height?

    Also can we assume the spring color will be red to stay with the stock color?

    Blocks and AALs don’t change the travel of the leaf springs they only change your ride height. So they won’t over extend your shocks anymore than a stock leaf pack would.

    Thats to say if the shock was long enough to except the added length of the block or new aal. If you put a 4"block under your leaf spring,I don't think the stock Fox shock would like that. It wouldn't even line up with it's mounts anymore unless you compressed the rear suspension while installing them than once you released the tension that shock would be very sprung. I read somewhere that the stock rear Fox's on a Pro could handle an extension of 1" either by block or leaf. Now you could build a shock mount extension or relocation.

    Please, nobody listen to this.

    Adding a block or adding a leaf increases the distance between your axle and frame and your rear shocks are connected to your axle at the bottom and your frame at the top. Theres no world where you can add distance without the shocks extending as a result of this.

    What it means for the shock is that youll lose downtravel before they hit an extreme, because theyve already used up some of it to compensate for the block. This actually does become a problem to the point that you have to buy extended rear shocks, but not usually just from adding a single AAL or block.

    The only reason i bothered to chime in is because Ive had to put extended rears on my truck because i got some secondhand leafs and threw an AAL in them cause I thought theyd be flattened out. Turns out they werent and surprise, I have 5" of lift in the rear now. I was actually able to lift my rear wheels a little cornering because my rear shocks were full extended, all the time. It was...interesting lol

    Well, That's going to make the Eibach/Fox spring interesting. They need to make something that gives us just a wee bit more lift but also allows us to stick with the stock rear shocks that can still be used with a small leaf or block. If they go 1.5" on the springs than the rear shocks will need to be replaced unless they also design a rear shock relocation mount. I'd prefer 1.5" over 1". I also really like the idea of using my stock front struts instead of installing a top spacer or replacing with coilovers

    We’re talking about up to a 1” block to compliment a small lift up front. This will not over extend the stock rear shocks. You also couldn’t be more wrong about AALs, they do not change the extended length of your stock leafs, and will not over extend the stock shocks.

    So you’re an expert because you put I unknown leafs on your truck with an AAL and it was wrong? Oh yea you know your shit.
