I’ll get you measurements on mine just as soon as I get them installed. However, I am installing mine with the wescott lift as well.

How did your OEM springs break at 36k miles?! Truck was overloaded, or what?

i live in NE Pa. salt on the roads, penndot trucks spread salt on the roads, but there equipment sucks, it spreads salt about 1 1/2 ft on both sides of the yellow line, so the drivers side gets the worste of the salt, that being said my driverside spring rusted and broke at 36500 miles and 3 yr 1 month old,, lol.my luck.. no warrenty, and no replacement spring, only whole assembly from dealer,, at around 1400. so i replaced both side with fox 2.5's. now 2 yrs later new springs are available. so im putting the eibach ones on the oem's, and put them back on.

Yeah there's a guy a few pages back that used the Eibach springs + Westcott perches (I'm pretty sure he ditched the 1/4" spacer that comes with the Westcott) and stuck on some 35's

Hey @5nahalf - as promised, we received some snow in our area a few days ago, about 10 inches and I got to test out the tires in snow. I did not air down, and was at about 34 PSI. In 2WD, the truck seems like it wanted to fishtail a bit, might also be due to the KDMAX Pro Sport Tune. But I was able to feather it a bit, and it was doable. However when I switch it to 4WD (4hi), the truck drove like a champ. Handled powder, packed areas, icy, and slushy areas with no problem. I even drove around looking for steeper hills and rougher areas to see how the tires would perform, everything went well. Now that some of the snow has melted and it is just wet and slushy out, 2WD performs great, never lost any rear traction.

I know in the articles, the guy aired down to 20 PSI. I have not tried that, but all i know is 34 PSI drives very well.

I also love that the Eibach Springs in the front gave me more ground clearance, and also allowed me to put on 33s. It made the truck more fun and capable to drive over mounts of snow that was piling up everywhere.

Thats the issue I ran into also when installing mine. I ended up having to pull the spring compressor bolt all the way out, then using a prybar and a hammer I was able to force the spring compressor jaws out of the coils.

yea, don’t want to hammer my new springs. Just gonna let the shop use the press on them.

Thats the best solution. I was in a bind since the nearest shop couldnt put on my springs, so I had to make due with what I had.
