I believe the Wescott is stiffer if I remeber correclty better for more weight up front such as a steel bumper or winch

He's asking about using both the Westcott perch and Eibach springs together

Correct, is there any benefit to do both or does the spring and perch give too much lift on stock Fox shocks?

It works and several people have done it, I would argue that you are pushing the fox struts past where they work best though. If you want a lift past 2.5 inches then perhaps selling the stock shocks and getting something thats designed for that lift would be better. But I dont know enough about these shocks to really say with confidence.

I tend to agree with you unless the user has significant weight up front leading to less overall lift

Thanks for the input, sounds like one or the other is best...might just go westcott up front (since I have it) and maybe an AAL in back instead of the block that came with the kit.

Not sure why I’m just now asking this, but is this supposed to level our trucks? I’m getting ~6” in the front and ~7.25” in the back, measuring from outside fender to the top of the wheel.

You don’t say what you have and by whom. The rake is natural from the factory (front end lower than rear), mostly so when you put in a load or tow it doesn’t sag right off the bat lol so they compensate from the factory. So if you have raised either without compensating for that, it will come out that way, although I’m not sure 1.25” diff is the normal diff between front/rear. I can’t remember, 3/4” is what comes to mind but I could be very wrong.

Talking to a local reputable 4x4 shop, they said while westcott makes good stuff, just because it leaves things within Toyota tolerances, they are just barely within. Disclaimer I have the Westcott lift for the Pro with the block in the rear. I am changing this out though as soon as the pocketbook lets me. I am probably going to go with the ironman4x4 Stage 2 foam cell pro kit.

Not dealing with your suspension when you’ve made significant changes can lead to issues possibly down the road with abnormal wear and tear or even ride and performance. If you are going to do a lift beyond a leveling lift mostly, you should start to consider going to suspension that will take on the changed angles, etc. your truck will be healthier for it.

Appreciate your words…I didn’t specify because this is the thread for the Eibach pro spring upgrades and folks who have been on this thread for a few months know I have it.

Doesnt the eibach pro coil springs clear 285? Why are people putting crap lifts on top of something that was engineered and tuned specifically for the pro shocks?

I’m clearing 285s. I think people add because they want more lift and something about travel that I’m not capable of explaining.

I mean I'm clearing 285's on the stock setup with sliders only. Only rubbing I've experienced is at higher speed on the trails. I previously considered the westcott for more ground clearance but I agree, I'd rather go with springs designed for my truck by the company who made the oem springs.

I just noticed wear on my driver side UCA (black paint removed down to metal about .25” wide), but I’m not feeling any. Leave it alone?

I tried to use this method and it didn't work for me. I was able to get the OEM springs off with no issue but when trying to reinstall, there was no possible way to get the strut shaft centered in the top hat. Eventually I just took the struts to a nearby 4x4 shop and they charged me $70 to install the new springs using a proper spring compressor. My advice: don't bother with this method and just take the fully assembled shocks to a shop and have them swap the springs.

Curious if anyone else has had luck with this method on the PRO Fox struts -- I've seen it done with other manufacturers on YouTube and it seemed super straightforward but I didn't have the same experience when I tried it.

33” rubbing on my driver side UCA 1ish months after Eibach pro spring upgrade. Alignment off? Only in reverse? I haven’t been feeling it. Mark@eibach

Running into an issue with reassembly. Its as if the top of the springs cannot lay flat like the OEM springs. Maybe someone here can help.

We installed the 2020 Eibach springs made specifically for the 2020 Pro Fox shocks onto the shocks, and the top hats are sitting at a crazy angle. Tilted. I’m sure they are assembled properly. Is this normal? Does it settle? Should I attempt to install them like this? We tried a couple of times reorienting things, but this has been the net result.

Really confused since I thought these springs were made specifically for the 2020-2021 fox shocks. Now I am second guessing - did I get the part numbers wrong? Are we reassembling them wrong? They were out together just like they were taken apart, from a stock Pro.

    Fox shocks are: ptr61-35201
    Eibach springs are: E30-82-069-03-22

Looks like the springs are upside down. Is there a groove on the bottom bracket. Pictures of the bottom spring

They aren’t upside down. 100% sure.

Spring orientation isn’t an issue here. The top of the spring can be identified by both the Eibach logo, as well as the end of the spring touching the first coil below it.
The bottom of the spring doesn’t touch any other part of the spring.

Idk what is causing this specific issue, hopefully others have some insight.

In addition to the top hat being angled, the strut is not centered inside the coil :/
