I meandered over to your build thread for the first time today. Great build! Love the truck's color. You got much more air from that same spot at Oceano then I did in Sept 2018. Well done!

Thanks man. It was my first time taking the truck to the dunes since doing all the work to it and it did great. If I didn’t have a 650 mile drive home I would have gone bigger.

Started on a bed rack for a buddy. Hopefully finishing it up tomorrow so he can take it and get it powdercoated. Center cross bars are removable for if you were to need to load something tall or a bike or something.

Garage fab weekend complete. Bed rack complete other than paint but that’s on him. Front and rear cross bars removable and center cross bar adjustable front to rear, and removable.

Another piece of the puzzle showed up today. Still a few little bits to order as I get to them but roll cage tear down starts next week.

So your truck was the one that initially sparked my interest in wrapping my truck and doing it myself. Well, got about half way done and my girlfriend and I finally got the technique down. Super pumped to finish it and put the truck back together.

I’ve heard of people stealing your stereo, but damn they went all out on my truck. Only things they missed were the drivers seat and the sub.

So are you doing any proofing while you are there or just a roll cage?

Proofing? Like sound proofing? Yes I’ll be adding some deadening material to the roof, floor and back of the cab to cut down on the added noise from the cage

Dash wasn’t too bad. I’ve had probably 80% of the interior out at some point or another so t was just figuring out where the last few bolts and clips were. Busted a few clips, but it should all hold when going back together lol. If I remember where it all goes after being apart for 2months.
