That’s the plan lol. Between that and the 3/16” plate along the whole frame, it should be pretty bomb proof

And done. They’ve got a slight taper to make them stick out about an inch further in the back than the front. Kicked up at about 7.5 degrees. And bent the pinch weld back underneath the door seams to tuck them up about another inch than they could before.

I did manage to hopefully finish beefing up my rear shackle hangers for the last time.

Used some leftover 1/4” wall from my sliders.

And mount my old compressor in the wife’s 4runner.

Couple questions - were those square tubes hrew in your slides? Can I see how you attached the extension to your HF jack - been planning on how to make one too and not spend like $100 for a pro eagle one which may still not be high enough.

Yes my new sliders are all hrew, but all 1/4” wall so much stronger than .120” wall DOM.

And without pulling everything apart, the bottom of my extension has a plate welded to it with a hole in the center. E2857765-49E7-49F5-99A3-982BEAE460C1.jpg

I replaced the pin with circlips with this hitch pin and then the green circled pin that normally holds the circular base plate drops down through my extension and holds it in place.

Well... not using the stimulus check, but had a feeler on my current axles and got called out. Time to worry less about axles with the 37’s...maybe

I bet it took you longer to find or whip up that meme than it took to purchase those axles

Haha found the meme yesterday so technically no since working out the current axle sales took a few hours. I did make an RCV account and have the axles in the cart about halfway though working out the selling details though

Edit: if you need more pics of the jack mount and extension setup I can get them this weekend. Just let me know.
