Title change because "my build" is boring and I didn't know what I was doing when I started this thread. Changes and updates to OP coming soon

First ride since before winter. If anyone can tell me why I haven't been riding, please come tell me, and smack me for not getting out more.

    Pros:
Bike still runs great for being an old girl.

I still kinda know how to ride.

Still faster than the truck on the bike

    Cons:
I'm way outa shape and need to fix that

Went through sections that I tuned my truck through...they're not as big as they seem in the truck

Truck needs: more suspension tuning, bypasses up front, 37's, more power, more travel.....

I wish, moving my cross brace forward to make room to add supports for the shackle hangars.

As for the tcai, I ran it with the standard parts for a year or so and noticed it was running the intercoller. Bought a intake elbow from auto zone, made a quick bracket and modified it to this configuration.

Frame plating round 2. First setup was probably plenty strong, but X brace was in the way of adding my shackle hangar supports. Easier to cut the old one out and just plate the whole thing this go around then modify what was there.

    IMG_2658.jpg

Should have the new cross braces and shackle supports in tomorrow

Frame plating and shackle support progress. 95% welded and I ran out of wire and paint. Gonna grab that and finish up this weekend.

Did she come into the relationship with the runner, or is she a convert?

    Nice work as always.

I converted her. Had a charger, but that didn't work in the snow. Wanted a Tahoe but I convinced her to get the 4Runner

She just didn't know she wanted a 4Runner until I suggested it. She loves it

Been working on a mx hauler that gets the bike way up and in the air so nothing drags getting to wherever I decide to ride or camp. Coming out pretty damn good. Just a few things to button up and she will be ready. IMG_3001.jpg IMG_2999.jpg

Holy shit that is cool. Is that the factory bottle jack as the lifting mechanism?

    Thanks man.

Yeah I sacrificed it. I was going to use a 4ton hydraulic jack, but the maximum lift height on them includes when you unscrew the top and get another 4" out of it, which is tough to do with all that weight on it. The dual stage of the factory jack works great and gives it enough lift. Just insert factory jack handle into a drill and it lifts the bike right up.
