Definitely my favorite truck I've owned so far. My 08 5.7L dodge ram was a POS, always in the dealership, my ranger was always having clutch problems. So far so good.

The Ford Ranger is going to have its work cut out for it. The Chevy Colorado doing a little better than I thought it would. Toyota has always been the king of the compact truck segment no surprise there

The executives at Ford have had teams scouring the pages of TW for years, getting inside the minds of Tacoma owners.

Ford Ranger is going to crush it.

    (anything is possible)

Agreed especially if Ford takes there time and doesn't rush the model out like Toyota did against the twins, look where that got em?

You mean they are going to design another problematic "box".
And offer $1000 of dollars of incentives off "retail" to sell as usual ?
    It's still a FORD.

I really have no idea, just a bit of fun.

These threads do happen every month though, so why not mix it up a bit?

    Agreed.
We keep hearing all these great stories of just wait, you'll see, its over.
But it never comes. Taco keeps churning along while Chevy Ford and I almost forgot Honda fade into the sunset.

IMO people are waiting for the 18's. It will be a flood of sales then.
