Taco sold to me with a 149k km. Turns out it's 149k miles. What can I do?

    Well it's doesn't really matter anymore fellas, its a done deal. I'm getting the frame replaced so at least i'll get some new parts!

    This story sucks. But as far as I'm aware, it was a private seller, right? "Buyer beware" is the general rule of thumb.

    That said, 10 years from now when your truck is still tits, you'll have forgotten all about the price you paid.

    More along the lines of encouraging him to press the matter till things are at least square on some level..

    If he doesn't have tough internet skin, I'm sure you'll be there to protect him.. :cool:

    It would be worthy to list the dealership just to keep others informed just in case the same stunt is pulled again on someone else..

    why would you buy anything without looking it over first?? you just take someones word for it? a lot of stupid people pass on misinformation esp when it pertains to vehicles.

    takes a split second to look at the odometer...i read the first post no need to go further
