I traded my 2013 taco for a 2019 TRDv Sport and I have a front bumper question. There is a part that hangs down from the bottom and I cannot find a name for it. I will show it in a pic. I suspect that it is intended to stop junk from getting up in the engine compartment and given the fact that I live in Maine, we have a lot of road junk in the winter. That being said I think it looks awful!!! Has anyone removed this part? Are there any add on's that would look better?
    Thanks,
    Bob W

That's the air dam, it's supposed to help with mileage. The OR does not have them. You can just remove it of you want.

It's for fuel efficiency , you can take it off and it's called an air dam .

Get rid of it. It helps gas mileage (slightly), but the ugliness isn't worth it. There are a bunch of little bolts holding it on.

this is a touchy subject like tires sizes on stock lift and leds in headlights.
