Hey folks, I just noticed today that I have a new noise. I never noticed it before. Therese a tick coming from my drivers side. The only thing ive done is had the dealer do the trans early this week. I have no check engine lights and its noticeable at idle but not so much while driving or at high rpm. My old 4ag days tells me its valvetrain noise. Apparently these tacos are noisy tho and I never noticed. I'm usually pretty bang on about this kind of stuff tho.

Check clearances anytime you need to replace valve cover gaskets. Only way to know if excessive.

Sometimes I think we should all have a signature video of our engines noises as our profiles.

Well i figure if its serious ill pick the rod bits up later. Just so clacky, maybe it was always there and i never noticed it. Ive only had it for a month or so and it has 200 000kms on it.

Best description is that it sounds like diesel clack and its rotational. Its not as loud though and isnt the same as a rod exploding. Which ive done.
