Taco Time

Lots of great info on here, I’ve been looking up stuff for a couple months and got my new one 5/31. ‘21 TRD OR DCSB in Silver with LED lights, door sills/mats, and mudguards. Dealers were telling me 8-12 weeks to get what I wanted but just happened to look at a local dealer site and they had real photos so I called them five minutes before closing time and put down a deposit over the phone.
I was going to get a bare-bones SR and put $5K into suspension but this works great for me.
I owned a 2004 Land Cruiser in 2012 but had to sell it for a truck when we bought a little farm, I loved that tank but 11-12 mpg was horrible.
Farm is sold, I would rather go fishing and exploring than irrigate and cut hay these days.
Plans for mods include some CBI rock sliders, they are made a couple hundred miles from me in Idaho Falls so I can pick up at the factory and save shipping, plus I like their products and install looks pretty simple. If I go with an overland setup I will get the UpTop rack and either an Eezi-Awn tent or a clamshell Superlite from GoFast. I’ve been a tent camper all my life but the idea of not needing a campsite is appealing because they are tough to get these days.
Turnkey clamp for tailgate, OCD console organizer, Powertye tie-downs, and a Toyota hitch cover plug are what I’ve bought so far, and I own a JL Audio microsub and amp that are getting installed in a couple of weeks.
