Taco Topolgy map

Had a 2018 v6 come in for a Check Engine light with p0420 and p1605 strange on a 70k mile truck, going to diagnose the rough idle. Anyway, I wanted to share the topology map of all the computers in the truck for those of you that did not know. Cheers

 

That's neat, I knew 3rd gens had more modules than 2nd gens but I didn't know they had that many more.

I've been wanting to get a scanner with topography but I haven't yet, I still use my Verus Edge most of the time just because it has the best data graphing interface IMO.
I also have an Autel MS906BT that does pretty much everything else the Snapon won't.

 

Yea as were making the shift to EVs here in CA I picked up an Autel Ultra with EV capability for future diagnosis. This thing has coding and programming ability which is a huge help, So if you plan to make an upgrade this scanner is really fun to use.

Also if people were wondering about the codes I further spoke with the customer and mil light came on after the dealer did a "fuel injection cleaning" so I'm going to send him back with a scan report. Not sure if the cleaning or additive they used messed up the bank one cat and caused a misbalance making the car idle rough.
