Not why do people get TRD Sports or Offroads, but why do people just say " I have a TRD".

Sport and Offroad are entirely different, people!

Me. I'm OCD and care about minor, unimportant things. Then I write about them on the internet to the chagrin of other forum members. :D

Lol. Well I guess when dealing with parts or vehicle sales then being specific matters.

It's more... Why don't you say which logo you paid for? AKA, TRD Sport or TRD Offroad? Instead of being ambiguous?

You can only say you own a "TRD" if you pronounce it "TuRD."

Did anyone read my post? I just wondered why people don't say what they have. To me, it's like somebody asking what kind of truck you have, and you say "Toyota". Well, is it a tundra or a tacoma or a pre-taco, they're totally different!

Well they're not totally different they just have a different option or two. Not even similar to just saying you have a toyota.

Honestly this had bothered me in the past too. I understand the 1st gen guys cus there was only the O/R pkg available, but the 2nd gen guys saying it kinda grinds my gears.

I like to say I have a TRD Sport with A/C, power steering, electric windows, tilt, AM/FM, power brakes, digital compass, digital thermometer, Sport seats that are adjustable with lumbar and a sliding rear window. After that are rarely any questions as to what I drive.
