    New to Tacomaworld.

I'm picking up my first Tacoma next week. It's a 2014 DCSB TRD Sport with the bluetooth/backup camera head unit.
I would like to keep the factory head unit because I've read it's a pain to hook up the Bluetooth and backup camera to an aftermarket head unit. I want to install an amp/sub to the system.
My question is, has anybody installed a Taco tunes Plug and Play wiring kit to their head unit?

Has some pretty sweet seat covers
You might want to read some current reviews for them before ordering. I think I read recently there customer service has not been as good as it could.

I have bought their wiring harnesses and box and had no real issues with their customer service. Must have been a lucky customer.

i waited 6 weeks, product came damanged and was replaced within 48 hours.. they are like any other small business.
struggling to keep up with demand. they just moved in a bigger warehouse too.
as a business owner myself, i can't seem to find good help now a days.. no one wants to work or do a good job because the don't have too.
don't forget they are backlogged due to the big texas storm 2 months ago..

i had no problems with my tt order. Correspondence may have been a bit slow when I asked for inventory of items I wanted but other than that my items arrived within a week or two. They did inform me, of a delay due to the flooding(?) they had in their area that affected the power grid for some time. After going thru what many of us did dealing with "k"tee4x2 I felt more relaxed dealing with some other smaller online companies.

for sure they don't respond to or ship out like Amazon would. Amazon kinda spoiled me purchasing things online

I didn't have any issues when I bought the harness and four channel amplifier from TT. They were easy to install and LOUD when paired with the OEM-fit Powerbass speakers, but there was a constant white noise. You're basically just amping the crappy signal from the factory head unit. Long story short, I found the harness very useful when swapping to an aftermarket radio and amp because you can grab leads to all the speakers where the amp is.

So, bottom line: didn't like the TT amp, but the harness paid dividends when swapping radios and upgrading stuff.

Just to comment on integrating the factory backup camera and re-pairing Bluetooth, I've never had the slightest problem. Super simple plug and play with a Maestro RR unit and adapters. And the stock Entunes head unit is legitimately crap for sound quality, especially if you intend to start upgrading other parts of your audio.

Some have said they have bad customer service....but this has not been my experience. I bought speaker spacers from them for my last speakers and will for my next. They are REALLY well made.
