Has anybody ordered the budget-friendly ********* speaker brackets? I was considering the heavy-duty style for a pair of 6.5 focals but I feel the budget would do just fine to do what I need. My interest would be in knowing if the budget brackets vibrate under some louder and deeper bass. Or do they hold up just fine under normal circumstances ie. stock head unit with no amp.

    My shit is all stock.

I ordered these and am very happy with them. They machine them for the exact speakers you're running. Chris Posey there was friendly and helpful.

Were they the budget friendly or heavy duty?

Not really. And, yes. Lol. They fit perfectly. And, like I mentioned, were custom made for my drivers. I added some thin foam to the backside of them to seal against the door. Fastrings on the face.

You’re running Focal speakers. Those aren’t cheap. I’d spend the bit extra on the rest to get all the performance you can out of them.

I have the heavy duty. Ran them on 3 different vehicles now. I like there construction, and how secure they are. I always bolt them to the door with foam in between as anti-vibration, then screw the speakers in. Never had any issue with vibrations.

I know lots of people don’t like tac0 tunes and some of that is justified (which Is why their name is censored on here since they are banned) but I’ve never had an issue with them, and always received the speaker adapters pretty quick. Maybe a day or 2 until they shipped out.
