Taco Vinyl Raptor Grill W/TSS

@pc3coyote how do you like the grill? Poster above is saying the quality was satisfactory.

 

I’ve had mine since October 2019 and have had no issues at all. I’ve removed the grill on and off the truck several times with no problems. Plastic tabs were pretty stout. The raptor lights are still plenty bright without any issues. I don’t have the TSS in my 2017 so I can’t speak to that. The letters appeared to be high quality and painted well but I ended up not using them since I have the @Baja Designs lights behind the grill

 

Although having trouble with the TSS. Thinking of customizing it like the trd pro grill sensor garnish.

I just installed mine last weekend and really like the grill. Wish there were more specific instructions for the new 2.0 grille since the video linked is a 2016, so the wiring is pretty different. Also my TSS sensor keeps telling me to clean it and I've tried to no avail

 

Check out his video on how to wire it up. As for sensor bracket I think its trash. I also think he didnt test out to begin with. I bought another bracket off the site I mentioned above and haven't had any issues.

Please send me any info you have. He claims he is sending me a new bracket but at this point his credibility is pretty shot.

 

Lol that is what I did for the custom bracket. I'm move it this weekend above the letters and zip tie it just to test it out.

Where did you mount your tss?

 

Lol I did the same....but my tss light came on. It worked fine for about a week though.

Dam @TacosConTodo i didn’t like it w the cement lettering on this style grille but the all black looks nice. I’m torn now between this and the pro grille from runnin4tacos w cement gray lettering. Where did you get the TRD matching emblem for the grill? And is this the same grille? There’s no gaps for the raptor lights??? It’s clean across the top, who makes this? Thanks

 

Any word on when runnin4tacos gets some more in stock? Think I like their look better

 

@fkLymphoma yea the pro grille is nice. I wanted the cement letters instead of OEM Silver. I was told recently sometime this month. been trying to find something after market to give the truck it’s own look but options and Quality is limited

 

I notice you aren't using a plexiglass in front of the sensor.

I did manage to clear the tss error light with my blue driver. Everything is working now. I did relocate it to the top though so let's see how that works

 

I do have a pexi glass. Hard to see from back its inside

 

Unfortunately I am not going to promote the person who makes it. The who transaction, quality, customer service has been a disgrace. I am tempted to make a thread just to go off.
