Taco vs Frontier....

The Taco wins...but the owner doesn't. Some tard decides to cut across three lanes of traffic and run dead into me. As soon as it happened I tried hard not give him a swift kick to the gonads. The Taco took the hit a hell of a lot better than his Frontier. I had minimal damage with some scratches and small dents on the bumper and the small body piece under the headlight. My rim got some damage as well. The Frontier on the other hand had an absolutely destroyed fender and a bumper that was barely hanging on. What really pissed me off is the guy, 63 years old btw, had no friggin insurance. Someone at that age should know better. The cops came and hauled him off to jail. So even though the Taco wins in the damage department...I lose cause I have to go through my insurance to get my Taco fixed.

I'm a believer that the build quality is pretty darn good on these trucks...especially after seeing what happened to the Frontier.

And my final note -- If anyone out there is driving without insurance (which I know there are plenty), just understand that you are the exact reason why inurance rates are the way they are...I hope you all go to jail!

Florida no longer requires any liability insurance. I don't know why but I make sure my Uninsured Motorist coverage was in place.

 

Funny thing is this guy was from Jacksonville, FL. South Carolina has no tolerance for driving with no insurance. You must at least have liability.

being on the road with no insurance is nuts..especially if you hit a brain surgeon that can't work anymore..think about that.

Sorry bro...the cop came as I was taking pics...he hopped out his cruiser and immediately asked who owned Frontier...I just pointed and stopped what I was doing.

That would be great...it wouldn't be fair for my rates to go up because of someone elses irresponsibility...then again life isn't fair

2000 Frontier -- It looked like an access cab (if even available during that year)
