Taco with bad frame

Hi everybody,
I have 2007 Toyota Tacoma standard cab 4WD 32,800 miles
The problem it’s the frame, Toyota dealership asking for 20k to replace it,
Someone it’s selling me a frame 2012 model
Do you think
2007-2012 use the same frame ? thank you.

 

yes, the frame is the same as long as it is the same engine, cab configuration, and bed length...

Who will do the change? it is a significant amount of work... and be prepared to replace alot of other stuff that is also too far gone to move over...

Sometimes frames can be repaired by a good weld shop. if you post pictures of your frame, you will get some guidance on how far gone it is...
