what a lunch that would be....but really though
I decided to check out meguiars hybrid ceramic wax & post a review (short & long term)20190424_115805.jpg

I did have several concerns with the product prior to usage...
would it leave wax residue on windows, dark plastic, tires, head/tail lights?
    would it coat evenly?
would there be enough in the bottle for the whole taco?
would it feel & perform as good/better than carnauba hand waxing/buffing?

I started the process by washing & clay bar (2.0)....normally I would also perform motorized buffing & polishing, but I just did that 2 months ago, so I skipped that step this time
    20190424_115730.jpg
2.0 clay is great...it last for 10-20 car cleanings & if you drop it, it can be cleaned/reused
using quick detailer with the bar is optimal (water can work too....I like combining both)
I prefer the mothers clay bar 2.0, btw

according to the spray bottle/instructions, you just spray the meguiars hybrid wax on the wet auto, then rinse off starting from the top down
I used my pressure washer at a 18-24" distance to follow the last rinse off step
I followed up by hand drying the complete exterior with 2 microfiber clothes.

what a finish! & easy to do
none of my worries played out....
no wax residue on windows, plastic, or anywhere else
only used half the bottle, so the rav4 will get the rest of the bottle on its next detail
(you can do two tacoma's with one bottle, 3 corolla's, likely 1 tundra)
I am pleased with the feel & its seems to have coated evenly

I give this product thumbs up! & you should do it/have it done to your taco!
I got it at walmart for $15....currently meguiars is offering a $5 rebate on the product so its $10 for a great way to product your paint job.....spray on & wash off (no touch, no buff)

I will update the thread with long term durability on this new spray wax in a few weeks

I have always used Meguiars Polymer Sealant, easy on and easy off. I apply it about every 4 months and I’m sure I could go longer. My truck is outside 100% of the time so I feel it’s important to keep it protected so I don’t need to ask why my paint is peeling.

Nice, post some pics of truck after applying and dry. Good info, I’ve always wondered about products like these.

I’ll use carnuba wax a couple times a year, I’m always in a garage so not overly concerned.

When you factor in the price and ease of use this really is a decent spray sealant. You'd probably not need nearly as much moving forward, I think you want to lay it on thick for your first application then for successive washes you would use it like a drying aid and only spritz or so per panel.

Haven't watched but here is Meg's take on it:

Nice, I’ll have to consider this after I use my two half cans of carnuba wax.

I went full ceramic a year and a half ago and this product reminds me of the Carpro Hydro2 that I use. It's not a hybrid ceramic, but more of a silicone coating with similar application. Spray on and rinse off.
Since the ceramic coating, I no longer polish the truck and it beads like nothing I've ever seen. Glad you found something easy to apply.

I think the directions say to apply like a normal spray wax for the first application (Spray and buff with towel). After that, you move to the spray and rinse method.

did a long drive with the ceramic wax treatment (over 1000 miles)
working well & repelling dust/moisture better than carnauba thus far

will continue to update as I rack up the miles

side note- received many comments how nice my truck looks after using the meguiars ceramic wax
