Well I updated the first post. Long over due. Since this tread was last updated a lot has changed with my truck so i will summarize as briefly as possible in this post as best as possible.

    -New tires, Goodyear Authoritys 265/75/16
-Bought a trail gear rear bumper after getting rear ended
    -New rims off Craigslist
    -Mounted a 3rd hella up
-Bought a tool box used from a buddy
-Sound ordnance powered sub under the seat
-Bought a 20 inch led bar waiting to be installed

About the last time this thread was updated I got rear ended. I recievecd a hefty check from insurance and saved most but bought a new rear bumper and that was it at the time.

Fast forward to now and its the same scenario. I got rear ended yet again. This time I was backing into a parking stall at school and a kid came flying around the corner at about 25mph according to his statement and met my trail gear bumper. Needless to say i destroyed his Chevy Blazer. The impact shifted the bed on the frame a tad and possibly bent the frame, however its not noticeable enough for me to care. My truck has 204k So I took the new insurance check and decided to put it towards some more mods. A little maintenance and save the rest for school. Very pleased with the Trail Gear's performance. Didn't budge a bit. I will have to find some Photos and throw them up here from the accident.

That brings most everything up to date in a short summary
Thanks for looking at my thread revival haha

    Another little update,
I got my LED bar installed. Its been awesome. I love it so far. Kicks the butt out of the three hellas I had previously

    photo1_zps7bb40950_dceafb168f8c08eb5c14ffd3d7e7b66fb2286eaa.jpg

I also destroyed my stock skid busting through an ice covered river so i decided to upgrade. Built a home made skid at work. Should be a lot superior to the stock skid

    photo2_zps6270f55c_7874ba8424b5fd2707898dcfc242aae614bbb784.jpg

To top it off I also installed a Uniden CB in the ash tray location for trail runs. I will have to add a photo later on.

    Little update
Got some new tires. Ended up going with the cooper discovery ST MAXX in 235-85-16. I wanted the 255's but they were on backorder for a few months so i decided to go with what they had. Ive been pretty happy with the pizza cutters so far. Had them about 6 weeks now.

Thanks! I think it looks just fine. For me its function>looks. I still want my truck to be appealing to the eye but its not my first priority. Big fan of the pizza cutters so far.

I probably missed it, but what canopy do you have on the truck?

The hard shell is a "Glasslite" brand. Knockoff but it fit pretty darn well and served me well. I just made the switch to a soft topper though as I got one for free. I sold the fiber glass topper for 650$.

I welded the basket out of some 1"x1" square tubing. Pretty easy project. I wanted something low profile. It was approx 5 inches in depth.

I actually just sold the truck and moved to a 3rd gen 4runner with low miles. I needed something to last through college so im over on 4runners.com now.

cool man, that's awesome! do you have any closer pics of the basket up close, i've been really looking into a new basket, but i can't find one i like. I was looking for one that didn't sit up high, that sat closer to the roof itself.

I cant seem to find the pictures I took of the rack before I sold it but it dug through my photos and came up with a few more angles.
